We'll meet at a local record shop and set you loose in the dollar bin. Pick whatever speaks to you. Weird is welcome!

Loved someone else's pick? Swap. Can't part with yours? Keep it. You're leaving with a record either way.

How Does It Work — Dollar Record Club

First things first

We'll meet at a local record shop and set you loose in the dollar bin. Pick whatever speaks to you. Weird is welcome.

Then it gets good

Back at Dr. Honeybrew's East Village listening room, every pick gets played loud on a hi-fi system that'll ruin Spotify for you forever.

The best part

The record goes home with you, and so does the memory.

We meet at A1 Records in the East Village, dig through the dollar bin, then walk over to Dr. Honeybrew's listening room a few blocks away. The whole experience runs about 90 minutes.
Not even a little. You don't need to know the difference between a pressing and a reissue; you just need to pick a record that feels right. The whole point is the story behind your choice, not your music credentials.
